Title: A Very Claire Christmas
Characters: Sister Claire and her supporting cast mates as well as some surprise guests.

Synopsis: Claire thought she had the perfect gift for Sister Catharine this Christmas, but after some unforseen circumstances, she finds she has so much more to give.
Notes: Originally, I was going to give this as a Christmas gift for yamiloo, but Life got in the way like it does, so Merry Christmas in July Yamino! I mostly modeled this on those Christmas Specials from my childhood that had guest stars and songs and big production numbers meant to convey some message about the magic of the holidays. A nice thing about this format is it allowed for that squishy continuity that anime movies are fond of using. Another nice thing is it lent itself well to Yamino's love of shout-outs and background activity. Some are subtle, some aren't. I'll leave you to catch all the happy surprises big and small.

Notes: A friend once offered to do a script for me, but life went on, she did a MUCH better script for herself and I kept going on my own. I usually use this script (as well as a few others) as my show-off for artists/editors in the comics world. I'm quite proud and while I haven't written any more to it (I don't want any more weight on this till I'm a better graphic artist or one becomes interested), I have it plotted well into the future.

Notes: I've been fighting a creative funneling of my abilities lately. Lots of half-stories and half-starts making me feel less than on my game. This came out quickly after some discussion on a fellow writer's current project and it's the first thing I've finished in a WHILE. It's also a bit gay and steamy in a way I haven't done before (I think). Enjoy!

Synopsis: At the local sci-fi and fantasy convention, CentraCon, Gail Russell, an aspiring artist runs aground of some truly fantastical people and experiences.
Notes: This is the big one. I've been trying to figure out how to approach Nanashi in the right way since she showed up so long ago and she's finally in fighting shape, so to speak. I had planned on making a new adventure for her once every other week and grow her legend from there, but this ended up being her last story in many ways. Stories are interesting like that.

Notes: Poetry is rarely my tool of choice- I have certain opinions about how the medium is treated these days. However, even in my cynicism, I find it's the best place to play with form and language. So, occasionally, I will get in the mood and produce.

This particular poem came from my creative writing class (cleaned up again for current presentation) and while I can't remember the assignment, I knew I wanted to play with a reader's sense of reality and the mighty double meaning's use. That and I wanted a title that literally came from the poem, so read carefully and you'll see what I mean.

Notes: Written in a creative writing class back in college, I still enjoy this one, so I dusted it off and worked on it for proper presentation. This, with another story I wrote, became the groundwork for a fairly brainy novel I had in mind. Maybe one day it'll still work out that way.

Notes: This wraps up what I wanted to initially do with Azula, so I hope it holds all the Chronicles fans for a while. I still have ideas for this nook of fandom (I've had too much phun to say this is the end), but I'll be focusing my energies elsewhere for the time being.

Synopsis: Azula's actions behind bars start to rattle everyone's nerves and they all decide to start acting to see if she's trying to escape or just becoming a new kind of insane.
Notes:By now, I've hit my groove and have a sense of the corner of the Avatar world I'm playing in. From here on out, it's pretty obvious that Azula is the central character (protagonist? Antagonist? You call it). Though I felt like I was just doing a quick one-off fanfic, here I am, letting her royal craziness push me around, demanding more stories. So, since I have no clue when this is going to end, I came up with a title for the series: The Azula Chronicles.
